LEADING Volkswagen van specialist

Breeze Motor Group is the newest

tenant of award-winning business

development Dunsbury Park.

Work is also set to start next month

on a spec-build 3,300 sq mwarehouse,

with 80 parking spaces, due for

completion in Spring 2019.

Breeze will relocate from its Volkswagen

Commercial Vehicle Service Centre, in

Hilsea, Portsmouth, to take nearly 1,200

sq m of van servicing and office space

at the Portsmouth City Council owned

site next to junction 3 of the A3(M),

which was named Business Park of

the Year at the South Coast Property

Awards 2017.

Breeze managing director Mark

a hugely significant and unrivalled

business area. It’s ideally located

centre enabling the business to

enter newmarkets and provide a

more comprehensive service for van


“This is a very exciting development

for us. Portsmouth is vitally important

to our business strategy.

"We will be more than doubling our

existing workforce. We will initially

recruit a sales manager followed

by other individuals specialising in

sales and services. In the future we

will be looking at growing our team

further by supporting our current

apprenticeship programme."

delighted to welcome well-respected

independent retailer and VW expert

Breeze to the 45-acre parkland site

and to announce the plans for a spec-

build warehouse.

"This is more great news for

Dunsbury," Tristan said.

“We’re very proud of what we’re

achieving at this site and to have

Breeze, a fantastic family owned and

managed local firm, join us, alongside

international clothing giants Fat Face,

as our newest tenant, is another boost

for this exciting project.”

The Breeze unit will be used

for commercial vehicle repair,

maintenance and sales and is

expected to create up to 30 jobs.

The two new buildings will be designed

and built by international construction

firm BAM and work will start on site

this summer so that Breeze will be

able to start trading from their unit

by the end of the year. Lambert Smith

Hampton and GVA advised the council

and Hughes Ellard acted for Breeze.

Dunsbury offers bespoke

manufacturing, industrial, distribution

and office units on a built-to-suit

basis in its premier location on the

London/Solent corridor.

The council has planning permission

to develop a total of 665,000 sq ft

at Dunsbury of which 80,000 sq ft is

already let to Fat Face for their global

headquarters. The wider site also has

provision for hotel and conference

facilities totalling 60,000 sq ft.

Dunsbury is served by a custom-

built link road. All 45-acres have

been levelled and are served by high

voltage power supply in excess of

9MVA, high speed broadband, mains

water and gas and drainage capacity

for a one in 100 year storm.
